Hydraulic Oil

Premium-quality antiwear hydraulic fluid designed for service in mobile and stationary high pressure hydraulic systems. Contains a stabilized zinc additive system which provides outstanding antiwear characteristics, and good thermal and oxidation stability.

Performace Standards

Meets the requirements of German Standard DIN 51525 Part 2 and U.S. Steel Specification 127 Appropriate viscosity grades exceed the requirements of Denison Hydraulics HF-0 for severe-duty axial piston and vane pump service, and Vickers Specifications 1-288-9 for industrial applications and M-2950-5 for mobile hydraulic equipment

Feature Benefits

  1. Reduces risk of breakdown due to overloading by protecting components of high pressure hydraulic systems against wear
  2. Maintains system efficiency by rapidly releasing entrained air
  3. Good filterability and trouble-free performance in the presence of water contamination through excellent hydrolytic stability and rapid water separation characteristics
  4. Compatible with all metals used in hydraulic systems including silver and phosphor-bronze pump components used in axial piston pumps
  5. Provides long service life by resting oil thickening and the formation of harmful deposits
  6. Protects against rust and corrosion

Application

Recommended for all hydraulic systems designed to use a mineral oil based fluid, regardless of pump type, operating speeds and pressures. Should be used whenever antiwear hydraulic fluids are specified by the equipment manufacturer or where high wear has occurred when using non-antiwear hydraulic fluids.
Suitable for enclosed gears operating under moderate load conditions, as well as industrial circulating systems where a rust and oxidation inhibited or antiwear oil is required.
For applications subjected to a wide variation in ambient and operating temperatures, such as marine deck equipment, mobile construction machinery etc., the Caltex Rando HDZ series will provide optimum performance under all operating conditions.
